Application Requirement

Eligibility

  • Permanent Resident of Hong Kong aged 18-35 (i.e. born in 1989-2006)

  • Nominated by an employer, an educational institution, an industry organisation, or a professional from design or related sectors

 

Practitioner (Design-related)

  • Working experience in the design or related professions

 

Graduate (Design-related)

  • 2024 graduates of Higher Diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree obtained from an accredited Hong Kong educational institution

  • 2024 graduates of Master Degree obtained from an accredited educational institution in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong, of which the Bachelor Degree of master’s graduates outside Hong Kong must be studied locally and obtained from an accredited local educational institution

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • No application fees

  • The organiser and co-organisers are NOT allowed to nominate applicants

  • One individual may nominate up to a maximum of THREE applicants

  • Applicants shall fully understand the terms and conditions of the award. Upon submission of the application, applicants shall be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions set out in this application.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to interpret and amend the terms and conditions, and reserves the right of the final decision.

 

*Applicants from different design disciplines are welcome to apply, the applications will be classified into 4 major categories:

 

Communication Design

e.g. Identity & Branding, Graphic, Packaging, Publication, Poster, Typography, Advertising, Website, Application, User Experience (UX), User Interface (UI), Game, Explainer Video, Infographics Animation, Interactive Video (VR & AR), etc.

 

Environmental Design

e.g. Architectural Design, Landscape Design, Interior Design, Home & Residential Spaces, Hospitality & Leisure Spaces, Culture & Public Spaces, Commercial & Showroom Spaces, Workspaces, Institutional Spaces, Event, Exhibition & Stage, etc.

 

Fashion & Accessory Design

e.g. Fashion Apparel, Functional Apparel, Intimate Wear, Jewellery & Fashion Accessories, Footwear, etc.

 

Product & Industrial Design

e.g. Household Appliance, Homeware, Professional & Commercial Product, Information & Communications Technology Product, Leisure & Entertainment Product, etc.
