Note (1)
A judging panel will select the awardees in judging session(s). It is co-chaired by the representatives of organiser and sponsor and consists of representatives from educational institutions, design-related associations and renowned design companies.

First Round Judging

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the First Round Judging session. Attendance is mandatory for invited candidates and are required to present in person for a presentation of their portfolio and work/ study plan outside Hong Kong.

 

Final Round Judging

The judging panel will select candidates from the First Round Judging to advance to the Final Round Judging based on their presentation skills, application materials, and the design works submitted.

Finalists will be invited to the Final Round Judging for a presentation of their portfolio and work/ study plan outside Hong Kong. Candidates should bring along their portfolio, documents, certificates and reference materials to the judging session in person.


Note (2)
Awardees will become the ambassadors of DFA HKYDTA to promote the award programme and Hong Kong design and creative industries.

Note (3)
Awardees are required to submit proposal of work/ study outside Hong Kong, interim report and completion report before, during and after the undertaking.
