Venus Cheung is an Art Director at Arturistic, focusing on music visual culture, cross-media design, and material experimentation. Since 2021, moving from independent practice to commercial production, she has directed over 50 projects spanning album packaging, vinyl releases, concert visual identities, and promotional campaigns, gradually shaping a practice centered on music culture.
Refusing to let graphic design remain on standard medium, she explores how concepts can be truly felt through material, structure, space, and interaction. She continually redefines commercial packaging, transforming traditional album design into spatial objects with lasting collectible value.
Her past collaborations include artists such as Terence Lam, Serrini, JACE, and Sophy Wong. Her work has received the Golden Pin Design Award and was selected for the Tokyo TDC Annual Book. From concept and visual storytelling to material testing, printing, and production, she treats every detail of the process as part of the creative work.
Currently, Venus is bringing this practice centered on sensibility, material, and space into the commercial and fashion realms. She aims to build an open, internationally connected practice that unites creative partners across different cities and disciplines, generating new possibilities through collaboration.
