Yip Pin Ying, Lucy
Spatial Design | Graduate of University of Hong Kong (Architecture)
Lucy Yip is a Hong Kong-based Architectural and Interior Designer who holds a Master of Architecture (Design) from The University of Hong Kong. Embracing a non-linear journey, her practice evolved from fashion and textile marketing into over four years of professional interior design experience. This cross-disciplinary foundation shapes her empathetic, detail-oriented approach to spatial design, seamlessly bridging macro-level urban strategies with micro-level tectonic detailing.
Driven by a deep connection to her hometown, she constantly explores spatial solutions that respond to Hong Kong's high-density urban fabric and rich cultural heritage. Her master’s thesis focuses on Aberdeen’s water architecture, exploring the preservation of maritime culture and weaving land and water to envision new floating civic spaces. Eager to expand her perspective through international experience, she looks forward to bringing broad perspective back to enrich her future practice in Hong Kong.
