A judging panel will select the awardees in judging session(s). It is co-chaired by the representatives of organiser and sponsor and consists of representatives from educational institutions, design-related associations and renowned design companies.
The judging panel will select the applicants to enter Final Round Judging based on the application materials including the design works and presentation video submitted by the applicants in First Round Judging.
Finalists will be invited to the Final Round Judging for a presentation of their portfolio and work/ study plan. Candidates should bring along their portfolio, documents, certificates and reference materials to the judging session in person.

Awardees will become the ambassadors of DFA HKYDTA to promote the award programme and Hong Kong design and creative industries.
Note (3)
Awardees are required to submit proposal of work/ study outside Hong Kong, interim report and completion report before, during and after the undertaking.
