André Fu is an acclaimed interior designer and architect and the founder of his eponymous Hong Kong–based studio. His practice has reshaped modern luxury through a diverse portfolio across Asia and Europe, reflecting a distinctive artistic vision and timeless sensibility. He is the recipient of numerous accolades, including the DFA Designer of the Year Award 2025, Maison & Objet Asia Designer of the Year (2016), and Elle Décor China’s Interior Designer of the Year (2019).
André describes his design philosophy as an endeavor “to provoke new ways of thinking about what luxury means.” For more than twenty years, his work has blended cultural awareness, contemporary elegance, artistic expression, and craftsmanship. His designs incorporate European principles of beauty and Oriental qualities effortlessly, weaving together tradition and modernity.
His influential portfolio includes collaborations with Louis Vuitton’s Objets Nomades and landmark hospitality projects, including The Upper House Hong Kong, Hotel The Mitsui Kyoto, Dusit Thani Bangkok, Capella Taipei, and Waldorf Astoria Osaka, demonstrating his enduring impact on global luxury hospitality design.
