Chan Ka Chun
Spatial Design | Graduate of University of Hong Kong (Advanced Architectural Design)
Chan Ka Chun graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Hong Kong with an MSc in Advanced Architectural Design this year. He is passionate about innovative construction research and computational design, with expertise in translating research into verifiable prototypes and spatial systems.
He participated in the “Concrete Approximation” design-research studio led by Associate Professor of Practice Olivier Ottevaere, for three consecutive semesters, focusing on novel concrete formwork—including tension-formed minimal-surface fabric molds and inflatable molds.
After graduation, Chan Ka Chun continues to pursue innovation in inflatable formwork, he plans to further his studies in computational design and building technology, deepening his exploration of innovative construction techniques and design research.
