Founder, Mike Mak Design
Mike Mak graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design in 2007. His well-known designs pieces are BOOKNITURE, Eyeclock, Moon Reach Ladder, Dear Vangogh and The BIG BIG PIXEL series.
Mike was selected as 36 Young Designers of the Year in Asia by DESIGNNET magazine in 2010 and was awarded Perspective’s 40 under 40 Award in 2015. Also, he was invited to the 1st Beijing International Design Triennial in 2011 as one of the Hong Kong representatives. In 2014, he won the Maison & Objet Rising Asian Talent Award and represented young talent designer of Hong Kong to showcase his Contemporary Chinese Design Series at the 1st Maison & Objet Asia held in Singapore.
Mike believes good design should truly reflect designers’ perspective of daily living inspirations. His design are bold and yet easy to be understood by his audience, and he believes customers' satisfaction are the most rewarding.
