Tiger Chung graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Design and currently works as a Designer at TIGERSTROLLING. As the awardee of DFA Hong Kong Young Design Talent Award 2026, Tiger aims to deepen her couture expertise and apply advanced craftsmanship to the brand’s distinctive headpieces and deconstructed tailoring.
Her two collections reflect a bold, humorous, and socially conscious design approach rooted in Hong Kong’s street culture. By transforming everyday objects and overlooked local references into couture elements, Tiger challenges conventional ideas of beauty, class, and fashion. Her work combines upcycling, exaggerated forms, embroidery, and theatrical details to highlight marginalised communities while demonstrating how local culture can inspire innovative, high-fashion expression.
Tiger aspires to elevate Hong Kong’s craft standards and develop a distinctive fashion identity grounded in contemporary life. Through couture innovation and knowledge sharing, she hopes to inspire emerging designers
