Bonita Cheung made her debut in 1998 at the Hong Kong Fashion Week, where she unveiled a collection of evening wear crafted from the highest quality fabrics and adorned with intricate embroideries. Her clientele includes notable figures, from socialites to celebrities such as Michele Reis, Gigi Lai, Cathy Lee Chui, and Tang Wei. Through her participation in overseas shows in New York, Sydney, Dubai, and Beijing, Bonita’s designs are worn by some of the most stylish women from around the world.
Bonita also served as an Executive Member of the Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association (HKFDA) from 2008 to 2016, and continues to be the Curator & Project Director for their various initiatives. Notably the "World's Greatest Catwalk Hong Kong" show in 2012, a groundbreaking event that secured a place in the Guinness World Records and "UNZIP Creativity 2016” in Taipei. Recent projects being a series of JUXTAPOSED events namely Fashion x Music 2017 in Tamar Park, 2018 in Tai Kwun, Exhibition x Popup 2020 at The Landmark and JUXTAPOSED Fashion × Meta 2022.
