Dr Brian Lee is an Associate Professor, Leader of Asian Lifestyle Design Lab, and Programme Leader of BA (Hons) in Product Design and Deputy Leader of BA (Hons) in Social Design of School of Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He researches and teaches novel methods to identify innovative insights through the human-centred and collaborative design approaches. He has extensive experience to lead cross-disciplinary design projects to extrapolate positive value change, such as the design research about the quality of life in an ageing society and the user needs through the empowerment of the communities. His current research includes design for sustainability by exploring interactive product and service systems in the nursing home environment, renewable resource system promotion, park's seating furniture etc.
