Fashion Designer
A recent graduate of Nottingham Trent University (VTC SHAPE) with BA (Hons) in Fashion Design, Ng received her Higher Diploma in Fashion Design at the Hong Kong Design Institute in 2019.
Her final year project, ‘Hermaphrodite’, is a unisex collection designed with the LGBTQ+ community in mind: androgynous designs are applied on sheer, light materials, with less focus on the silhouette. ‘Geometry and Lines’ is another collection with a bold, flamboyant three-dimensional design for the sleeves and pants, inspired by Picasso’s paintings. Ng’s goal is to establish her own eco-friendly design label that supports the LGBT+ community.
